Apparatus Operator: Aerial
A course designed to provide the structural
firefighter with the needed knowledge and skills to
successfully operate aerial apparatus. A must for
departments using aerial apparatus, this course covers
topics such as: Types and Construction of Aerial
Apparatus, Positioning Aerial Apparatus, Stabilizing
Systems, and Maintenance and Testing.
Special Equipment - NFPA compliant PPE

Pre-Requisites
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Drivers License
- IFSAC or ProBoard/NPQS Fire Fighter I or
Volunteer Fire Fighter
- Completions of
Skill Sheets 1-6 at the student department prior
to attending class.
