It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Arab Fire Department web site. As the Chief of the Department, I am honored to serve with men and women who take pride in being a part of the Arab Fire Department. It is our privilege to serve the residents of the City of Arab, the workers who enter our city daily, and our many visitors.
Our mission is to prevent loss of life and property and to ensure the safety of Arab’s citizens. We do this by focusing on training, fire prevention, and public education. In this post 9-11 world that we live in our mission has changed to include preparation for any contingency either man made or natural disaster. We work closely with the Mayor's Office, the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management in a collaborative multi agency effort.
We recognize that we are here to serve the needs of the community and its citizens. We strive to provide the best service possible, in a professional and positive manner. We operate with a high sense of ethics, honesty, and integrity and we treat our citizens with respect, dignity, and fairness they deserve.
